Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Jaipur Arrival
On your arrival at Jaipur airport, your driver will greet you at Jaipur Airport/Railway Station and transfer you to your Hotel. After your check-in process, if time permits, we can visit some places in Jaipur such as Albert Hall, Birla Mandir and Hawa Mahal. Later you can enjoy shopping at local market. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 02: Jaipur Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for Jaipur sightseeing. Starting with The City Palace, situated in the heart of the old city, the perfect blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The center of the palace is a seven storied building called Chandra Palace, with fine views over the gardens and the city.
Later visit Jantar Mantar (Solar Observatory), which is located opposite to the City Palace. Jantar Mantar is an astronomical treasure house, with solar devices that give accurate predictions till date.
Explore Hawa Mahal, is considered as the landmark of Jaipur. Known as the 'Palace of winds', this five story building was built in 1799. It has 953 windows on the outside walls.
Next you will be taken to Amber Fort, 11km from Jaipur, is one of the principal tourist attractions in Jaipur, located high on a hill. Amer Fort is known for its artistic style of Hindu elements. Later visit Jal Mahal, or "Water Palace" is located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake, built by the local rulers for water fowl hunting.
After visiting the places, head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: Jaipur - Pushkar
Today you will be driven to Pushkar. The city is situated at a distance of 148 kms from Jaipur and take you around 2 hours 30 minutes, by road, to reach your destination. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. Later we can start exploring the city. First visit Pushkar Lake, it is surrounded by 52 bathing ghats, where pilgrims throng in large numbers to take a sacred bath. Next visit Brahma temple, the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahmma in the world, and Savitri temple. Later back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 04: Pushkar - Jodhpur
After an early breakfast, you will drive towards Jodhpur. The 'Sun City' Jodhpur is situated at a distance of 214 kms from Pushkar and take you around 3 hours 49 minutes. Upon your arrival, check-in at the hotel and then proceed to explore the city. First you will visit the massive Mehrangarh Fort. The fort is known for its commendable architecture that it is formidable walls. The ornate red sandstone carvings, the gallery of paintings, ornate palanquins and its intricate mirror work in the Sheesh Mahal are highly spoken off.
After visiting this majestic fort, you can take a walk amidst the narrow lanes of Jodhpur and adore the beauty of the city. Later, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Jodhpur Sightseeing Tour
Today after breakfast you'll head for the city tour of Jodhpur. First visit Jaswant Thada, a splendid marble cenotaph monument that is also a mausoleum for the kings of Marwar. See the Umaid Bhawan Palace, is home of the Jodhpur royal family and currently it is the world's sixth-largest private residence. Next you will visit amazing Balsamand Lake, is a famous picnic spot, built in 1159 AD by way of Gurjara-Pratihara rulers. It was designed as a water reservoir to offer water to Mandore.
End your day with a visit to the Clock Tower, located in the Old City. If time permits, visit some local bazaars before heading back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 06: Jodhpur - Udaipur
After checking out from your hotel, travel by road to the most romantic city of India - Udaipur. En-route visit famous Jain Temples of Ranakpur.
Continue drive to Udaipur. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and later in the evening you can go for a Boat ride in "Pichola Lake" and view the sunset. Return back to your hotel for stay overnight.
Day 07: Udaipur Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast at the hotel and you will embark on sightseeing tour of Udaipur City, which is famously known as "Venice Of The East" and "City Of Lakes". You will visit the City Palace, it is the largest royal complex in Rajasthan, which stands on a rocky promontory and comprises of cupolas, balconies, and towers which gives a wonderful view of the lake and th city. After City Palace you will visit Jagdish Temple, is one of the famous temples of Udaipur. Located in the City Palace complex of Udaipur, this temple is made in the Indo-Aryan style of architecture. In 1651, Jagdish temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singh, who ruled Udaipur during 1628-53.
Next you will drive through the Old City of Udaipur to reach Fateh Sagar Lake and also see Saheliyon- Ki-Bari, courtyard of the Maidens was designed and laid out early in the 18th century as a retreat for ladies of the royal household to spend their time in leisure. Later in the evening you can visit Monsoon Palace for sunset or you can do shopping, which is famous for hand printed textiles, wall hangings, wooden folk toys, and much more. Return to the hotel for comforting overnight stay.
Day 08: Departure from Udaipur
Day at leisure till departure. You will be transferred to Udaipur Airport / railway station to connect your return/onward journey.
